14 Day Emt Course - If you're going to short cut your way through education, how can we trust you won't do that with patient care? I observed yesterday and 75% of the class was from out of state so there is bound to be someone in here familiar with the book. I needed the 5 month version. The 6 month basic course is the same number of hours as the 2 week. In my opinion the student is better served 8 hours a day for 14 days in a row.versus 3/4 hours per night for 2 nights a week for months. I've also found a training. That being said, i had the same accelerated class as @ventmonkey, graduated and had my nremt within a month. We have run this program for almost 3 years. It is my opinion that they would be cranking out nremt's that really didn't know much. I am sure there are those smart enough to absorb everything in this period of time, but i am not one of them.
